On Tuesday 10 December 2024 we celebrated the birth of Ada Lovelace in the Computer Science Department at UC. Professor Richard Green talked about AI events on campus in the past and introduced our speaker, Diane Proudfoot from the Philosophy Department. She did a wonderful talk and slide show on Ada Lovelace which encompassed her life in the past, plus current AI and the AI-DA robot and her art. We had a good turnout and the chocolate cake was delicious.
